The mission of peace

In a time as merciless as ours, in how many hearts grows the desire for total and eternal Peace. To end everything and simply deserve silence. On our shoulders, however, weighs the duty of a mission to be accomplished on Earth, the feeling that we cannot stop now.

And how often these feelings seem conflicting, as if one could not be without the other, as if accomplishing that mission was to make us worthy of finally going in peace.

That’s fine, let them clash as well, let them come to seem infinitely distant: then you will have to reach out to touch them both, to fill that sense of infinity. In the meantime the tiredness will grow, because the mission is important, too important to sustain it alone, so far from home… and soon the tiredness will turn into loneliness and the loneliness into failure and the failure will lead you to purify the pain, to give everything away.

And in the end you will be naked, stripped of every garment. From the lips of your heart will then be uttered a few words of farewell, a heartfelt thanks to every idea you have ever had of yourself: you will say goodbye. You have worn so many masks, so many times: now leave this game to others.

You will now feel with certainty that nothing depends on you, but that everything flows through you, if you allow it to. You will thus relax into the depths of your Being, into every atom, completely.

And unexpectedly a miracle will happen: Peace will rest upon the whole world, all around, and the Fire of the mission will rise from the ashes, as light as it ever was.

For while You were searching for them, they were waiting for You.

A fraternal embrace
