Wisdom of Winter
At the gates of winter, for thousands of years, we gathered around the fire. Close to each other, we spent time telling stories of our heroes and how they always found their way home in the end. Each of us carrying in our hearts the hope of embracing others when the snow melted, not getting lost in the day when the sun would shine again.
When Nature was still much bigger than us, it reminded us that we have no control over important things, that there is a plan where every decision is made, and one where we are witnesses to the infinite wisdom of that design.
Because, as a dear old oracle would say: You did not come here to make a choice, the choice has already been made. You are here to understand the reasons for it.
May winter rest gently on your Spirit. May its guidance inspire you to new springs.
