The tides of life
Every year we spend on Earth can be compared to a tide that comes in and then recedes, bringing with it new changes, reflections, and opportunities.
Just like the sea, which is never the same, our lives also go through phases of growth and reflection, calm and storm. Sometimes it feels as if time passes slowly, like when the tide recedes, leaving space for quiet. At other times, the entire Universe seems to accelerate, like the waves crashing onto the shore with fury and passion.
Each year brings challenges, dreams, and transformations. And like the tides, which leave unexpected gifts on the sand as they retreat—shells, smooth stones, traces of life—we, too, after navigating our “waves,” often find surprises we didn’t expect: hidden lessons, new relationships, and moments of awareness that enrich us. Just as the tides are influenced by the moon, our lives are shaped by the experiences and emotions that flow through us. And like the tide that inevitably returns, we, too, always find a new opportunity for rebirth, evolution, and hope.
Every year we spend on Earth is an invitation to reflect on what has been and to look with hope and curiosity toward what will be. After all, the whole of Existence is always in motion, always seeking a new balance, just like the sea, which, while telling a story to the sand, draws a new wonderful horizon for the heart.
A wavy embrace.
