Finding Our Tribe
At an event a few weeks ago, I met a wonderful artist. In a few moments, he had enchanted the people admiring him.
He sculpted clay completely immersed in a hypnotic dance, and together with his audience, they were radiant. People passed by without noticing them, without stopping, but they were creating a true miracle.
At the end of the performance, I approached to compliment him. He said, “You can’t imagine how much time and effort it took, but in the end, I truly found my people, we are a tribe.”
His art required a delicate sensitivity, a certain heart; it wasn’t for everyone, but then again, nothing ever is. On our planet, humans are almost eight billion now, even if only one in a thousand resonated deeply with you, it would be an enormous network: millions of people.
You will find yours too, and you will continue to find them. Even if you were to resonate with only a tiny fraction of humanity, it would still be an immense tribe.
And recognizing each other has become much simpler today. We are ready to meet, to create miracles. A hug, a gaze, hands dirty with clay – that’s all it takes. Thus, new alliances are born: remembering how we plunged together onto this earth and joining together to manifest the change for which we’ve stayed.
You can notice it everywhere now, every time you observe the crowd beside you: there are those who are just there, and those who choose to be there.
