Travel companions
Whatever your desire may be, whatever projects or paths you choose to undertake, it is important to recognize that you won’t do it all alone. Because no one advances alone; we are all part of an integrated reality where everyone participates in each other’s journey.
But among all the people you will encounter in your life, some will play special, memorable, and fundamental roles in your fulfillment and in the journey you pursue. Here they are:
- Allies
- Collaborators
- Opponents
Allies are those who share sensitivities, priorities, and vision with you. Their embodiment is dedicated to the same goal as yours, and their desire is to share time and energy to achieve it. They are few spirits, but perceiving them, finding them, recognizing them will always be essential: together, you are greater, more powerful, in service to each other.
The second important figure is that of collaborators. These are people who simply lend their energy to your path but will eventually change direction and go elsewhere. The collaborator is a bridge for you and you are a bridge for them to reach seemingly distant shores, a heart to support you at the right moment, shoulders to lean on for a while. They will come and, if you let them go, they will disappear in a wonderful dance.
And lastly, there are opponents. You already know who they are, and with a bit of sincerity, you also know how necessary they are. Because an opponent challenges you, criticizes you, judges you, and slows you down so much that it forces you to open your eyes. To recognize who you are, what qualities you possess, and how unacceptable it is for you to remain where you are. Opponents help you understand how strong you are because they leave you no choice but to believe in yourself fully.
So remember, whatever your desire, whatever projects or paths you choose: you don’t have to do it all alone. Because there is an entire community by your side, and it never abandons you: you need each other to fulfill your destiny.
