Some things about You, the most important ones, you will not learn from experience.

Experience will never be enough, it will always be rather a confirmation of what you already know to be true in depth. A manifestation of your qualities as they emerge in the world out there. You only accumulate certainties and build up the superficial image we have of ourselves.
Along the way it will become clear then that experiencing is not the best way to understand your own essence. On the other hand, look inside: your inner world is immense, it is in-credible, it delights itself, it is chaos filled with joy, it is pure power. You look at the storm and try to harness it into a personality, but it is too full of life, of power, of chaos, so much greater than any manifestation, than the things you know how to do and have done.
Some truths of You then, the most important ones, you will not learn through experience, but in another way: through the miracle of Revelation. It is important that you know this. Revelation simply happens, it is a veil that flies away. At some point, perhaps even this instant, you feel it coming and you are flooded with it. A split second and the little you dissolves into a much bigger you and everything becomes clear. You begin a journey to the core of your essence. You realise you are a mystery far beyond experience, a light that did not reside in your father’s sperm, in your mother’s belly, in the eyes that are reading, in the body that will perish.
When you immerse yourself in Revelation you connect to your natural state, to your deepest core. Where you are immense, at peace, silent and aware of what is to come, of that sense that resides in the universal atoms that make up you dancing.
Experience makes you safer, structures you, protects you. Revelation deconstructs you, surprises you, throws you into the Ocean, offers you Truth.
A revelatory embrace
