An Unexpected Journey
It is a long journey of falling in love ours, until the moment when we are not used enough, treated badly enough, forgiven enough, met to the end.
No one knows when the honeymoon will begin… when the moment will come from which the compromise between who you are and the life you have can no longer be acceptable, is part of the wonder of this game.
For entire incarnations taking care of oneself will always be the last option. For many people loving themselves is not necessary, it can be put off until tomorrow, the holidays, retirement, after the divorce. There are other emergencies, and emergencies chase each other until they run out, until the masks that hide their faces run out.
From there on it’s all different: you have fallen in love with you by now, and in a world where everything is connected taking care of yourself is the same as taking care of the whole Universe.
And sometimes the Universe gets you there unexpectedly, by mysterious, unsuspected ways, helps you to blossom in love and for love. Sweet Victor Borge once said: ‘I thank God for giving me my talents, and I thank my children for making it necessary for me to realise them.
You never know how and when that Moment arrives, when the veil releases your eyes and everything lights up with colour, but from then on every moment is Now.
