About success
Is it permissible to wish for success in one’s projects? Even in the spiritual sphere?
Whatever the field of your endeavour, whether you are interested in spirituality or not, you want to succeed. The true common character of all human endeavour, large or small, is that it desires success.
Success is the subtle goal of all human activity. Success does not mean notoriety or recognition. Success means doing something that works in the best possible way. And the purpose of any activity is that it works. If you devote yourself to something for the world that doesn’t work, but you still think it’s great, that it’s others who don’t understand, you’re going to encounter frustration of some sort.
But that you want to succeed is only the first part. Because you don’t simply want what you do to succeed, you want what you came to Earth for to ‘succeed’, to finally realise your plan. To breathe a sigh of relief, and to be able to say: there, I succeeded.
And when it has all happened, the adult phase of your spirit will end and a sweet old age will begin. Then what will you be concerned with?
What is happening in the incarnation of others, to the rest of the Universe. So that everything will eventually have the success it deserves and needs.
