Set your priorities
Everyone carries universal values within themselves, keywords that open up deep emotions and memories of entire incarnations. Brotherhood, friendship, devotion, honor, loyalty, respect…
However, there is one particular thing that makes us different from others, that creates profound alliances and also has the power to generate harsh conflicts, to put an end to long relationships.
Not all values hold the same worth within us.
It is a scale on which we position the values, making some more important than others, some more or less expendable than others.
This intense period has given, and is still giving, each individual the splendid opportunity to recognize this personal scale. For instance, when the value of security clashed with that of freedom, and everyone made their choice. When the value of legality clashes with that of self-determination, or even the devotion to a project clashes with the value of family.
Knowing your values and those of others is important. Being aware of each person’s scale is fundamental.
Because every living being makes their choices in coherence with their spiritual history, and therefore with their scale of values. And every day, you decide what role to give to each character, which companions to have by your side…and which ones to let go.
So, dedicate a moment to reflect on it: what is your scale?
A valorous embrace.
